About copying projects, including timeframes

Copying an existing project is an easy way to kickstart the setup of a new project, and works best when you have recurring projects with a similar structure and setup.

When copying a project, Yanomo will clone all project settings (including rates, activities and subprojects), and will also transpose the underlying timeframes / deadlines of subprojects and tasks - if they are defined.

The new timeframes will be extrapolated from the starting date of the project. So if a project with starting date of January 1 will be cloned with January 21 as its new starting date, all underlying deadlines in the copied project will be automatically moved 20 days.
